No. We connect to your server the same way you do, over SFTP or FTP(S), so it works with WordPress, WooCommerce, Laravel, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, static sites and anything else on cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin or a VPS.
Your server credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Every archive is compressed, then encrypted with its own unique AES-256 key before it leaves our backup workers, and verified with a SHA-256 checksum.
Pick a backup and click Restore: we put the files (and optionally the database) straight back on your server. You can also restore a single folder, download one file, or download the whole backup as a standard .tar.gz.
You get an email straight away with the reason, like a changed password or a full disk, and the dashboard shows the full log. We keep your last good backup no matter how old it gets.
